Vectode is a small, independent software product. We collect as little data as possible and never sell it.
Who is responsible for your data (controller): Vectode is operated by Michal Kraus, a self-employed sole trader (OSVČ) registered in the Czech Republic. For any privacy matter, contact info@vectode.com.
The Vectode app and Illustrator panel validate your license key against Lemon Squeezy's license service. This sends only your license key and a device identifier — never your documents or designs. The artwork and codes you create stay on your own computer.
Card and billing details are handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy under their own privacy policy. Vectode never sees or stores your full payment information.
We process your purchase and license data to perform our contract with you — delivering and supporting the product. Support correspondence and license validation rely on our legitimate interest in running and securing Vectode.
Our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, is based in the United States, so some data (such as your email and order details) is processed there. Lemon Squeezy commits to appropriate safeguards for international transfers — such as the Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework — under its own privacy policy.
We keep order and license data for as long as your license is valid and as required by accounting and tax law, after which it is deleted. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to help you.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these, email info@vectode.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. In the Czech Republic this is the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, uoou.gov.cz); elsewhere in the EU, your local authority.
